Language House offers individual/small group lessons at our school or at the student's office or residence. We design flexible classes for students of all levels to suit their needs and convenience.
Individual/small group instruction and training is available at the following hourly rates per student:

We will also offer late evening individual/small group lessons between 8:00 and 9:00 p.m. on weekdays at the same rate as early morning lessons.
At intermediate and advanced levels, rates may vary depending on the degree of preparation required by the students.
Lessons at student's office or residence will require an additional fee, $40 per lesson for lessons conducted in the Midtown Manhattan area, or within 30 minutes travel time from Language House. The fee increases for longer commutes.
We will provide a consluting session for a new student without charge. In this session, we will listen to the student's expecations and requirements carefully, and then set up the best curriculum for him/her.
When a student has some backgroud of learning Japanese language, we will also check his/her current level of proficiency.
This session usually takes about 15 - 30 minutes. Please make an appointment with our instructor in advance.
Students should sign up for ten lessons. For the first session, students can sign up for five lessons.
Please make payment by check to Language House prior to the first lesson. We also accept Visa or MasterCard.
The full payment must be completed by 12:00 p.m. the business weekday before. The payment for Monday lessons must be completed by 12:00 p.m. on Friday of the preceding week.
All individual and small group lessons may be cancelled without penalty if we receive notice of cancellation by telephone or e-mail by 5:00 p.m. the business weekday before. A Monday lesson can be cancelled by 5:00 p.m. on Friday of the preceding week. There is no refund for late cancellation.
Please let us know any change of your lesson schedule as early as possible so that we will be able to reschedule the lessons more easily.
